A place for the community

Founded by Geoff Talliss, Layca was established in order to provide members of the greater Shirley & Light Hall area community a chance to take part in a number of recreational activities. With great social activities for the entire family, private gatherings and educational programs.

Ever since opening our doors to the community in 1998, we have provided our community with the chance to get together and experience what we’re all about. Whether you’re looking for recreational activities or are looking for enrichment programs , our center has something for everyone to enjoy. Over the years, it’s become a crucial part of life for people in the community and continues to be an integral part until today.

This venue is suitable for the following occasions.

Wedding, Party, Reunion, Anniversary, Training, Children's Party, Local Community Meeting, Societies and Music Clubs, Christenings, Blessings, Wakes, Baby Groups, Fitness Classes, Yoga, Church Event, Choir Practice, School Events, Dog Training, Naming Ceremonies.
